I've been asked numerous times how I lead teens out of specific sins...My response has always been to address it, but pound into the teenager the importance of building their relationship with Jesus. After all, I can't change them or re-correct their behavior. I know at the end of the day, they are the only one that can make the decision through the power of God.
In studying today; I came across something similar and powerful:
"How can we keep from sinning? We must focus more on our relationship with God than on defeating sin. When we are in an intimate, growing relationship with God, we will be better able to resist many temptations."
